What Do They Taste Like?
Every mushroom we offer has a distinctly different flavour than the next.
Shiitakes are very meaty and savoury. Chestnuts have a crisp stem texture with a nutty kick. Oysters are very versatile, we call them the workhorse mushroom, they go great with any mushroom dish. Lion's mane are very meaty, with a mildly sweet, seafood flavour. Enokis are fabulously chewy mushroom with a slight citrus flavour. Beech are very mild, similar to white buttons, excellent steamed in ramen.
