Mushroom Pâté

Ingredients (*items available from local farmers or vendors)
*1/2 mushroom medley or oyster mushrooms
1 cup walnuts
1 tbsp olive oil
*1/2 cup parsley
Salt to taste
*1 yellow onions
*3-4 garlic scapes
*4 everything bagels thinly sliced (for making crackers) from @salty dog bagels
Oil for coating
For the bagel crackers
Preheat oven to 350°C. Coat bagel slices in oil of your choice and bake on a cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes. Check frequently to avoid burning.
For the Pâté
Warm up your pan and oil. Toast your walnuts for 1-2 minutes. Chop your onions, mushrooms, and garlic scapes. Cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until lightly browned. Add water as needed to prevent sticking. In the last minute add parsley and cook slightly.
Add contents to the food processor and blend fully. Serve warm or cold.
